About Us
Two Brothers Dog Wash is owned and operated by Jared and Dave Henderson. The oldest and youngest of four children, the brothers were born and raised in Hallowell, Maine. Their store was a shared goal in recent years and by collaborating ideas, Two Brothers became a reality in September of 2008.
Jared lives and works in the Washington, DC area and helps at the dog wash most weekends. He will be stationed back in the VA Beach area in the spring of 2010, and hopes to be able to be around the shop a lot more.
Dave moved to Virginia Beach in the summer of 2008 to open the dog wash. He has raised Ziggy, a 5-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier since he was a puppy. Dave operates the store on a daily basis and sometimes brings Ziggy for company.
Ziggy got the job of store mascot. Ziggy has always preferred to get dirty rather than get cleaned up. But he has a good attitude about everything else. He adores people and other dogs and loves to play.
