K-9 Karnival 2010

This is the 19th year for K9 Karnival, and there are several changes. Most importantly, the event hours will be from 1 pm - 10 pm. Activities will be underway and exhibits in place from 1 pm until 6 pm. Bring your furry friend and check out the doggie-related businesses,
the canine rescue organizations, rabies shot clinic, and the inspiring canine
demonstrations. All dogs can compete in the 2010 Skyhoundz Competition,
canine disc contest and the 19th Annual Dog-Gonest Dog Show. Finish out
the day with the outdoor showing of the hit movie, Hotel for Dogs,
which begins at sunset. Free and open to the public with on-site
parking, sponsored by The City of Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation.

Rock & Roll Half Marathon!! Be a part of the Two Brothers Self Service Dog Wash Team!
The Rock & Roll Half Marathon series comes to Virginia Beach on Sunday, September 5th. If you are a runner and want to sign up for the race, Two Brothers Dog Wash will be making custom shirts for all runners. You just have to promise to wear the shirt during the race or just afterwards. The shirts will be a high-performance style fabric, so you can even wear them to train in leading up to the race. We are also going to try to put together some other gear and goodies for our team, but what has yet to be determined. So basically, it's like this: sign up to run, pledge to promote us while you run, and get a free shirt and maybe some other swag!
